How to submit London, Brighton or other city UK Classified ad with image
To ad image to your ad is very simple. However we see that some people are having troubles with that.
When you are filling in classified ad submission form you can see “Browse” button. If you click it you can select file from your computer. Note that file should be JPG format. It is common format for all images and most photo cameras save images exactly using this format.
If you have PNG, BMP or GIF image you can easily resave or convert it using Microsoft Windows program “Paint”. You can find it in Start menu -> Programs -> Accessories -> Paint. Click File -> Open to open file and then click File -> Save as. You can see Save as type there. Click JPEG/JPG.
JPEG images are ideal for submission to classified ad websites because they use special compression algorithm and use less space and as a result your classified ad loads faster via internet.
By the way – do not forget to make smaller size of the image itself. When you have your image opened in “Paint” be for you do “Save as” go to Image -> Resize/Skew. Input horizontal and vertical sizes (for example 50% or 20%) and click OK. Do not forget to save it and that’s it – you are ready to attach photo to your classified ad.
